I have this game that I play in restaurants called “What’s secretly pork?” As a non-pig-eater who moved to New York with a limited food vocabulary, I would always end up wanting to eat some interesting-sounding thing on the menu only to find out that it was secretly pork.
Things I now know are pork:

- Sopressatta
- Lardon
- Rashers
- Speck
- Pancetta
- Collops
- Gammon steak (this one I learned yesterday!)
